"When people say that they want to die or kill themselves, it’s actually not like they just want to die to see who cares or who would show up at their funeral… It’s not as simple as that. They do not want to die. They want to be saved. They want someone to show up behind them and tell them ”I think and feel like you do, I care about you and your mind is the thing I mostly desire to explore. You are not alone”. What they really want, is to erase their existence, to erase their lives as if they weren’t ever born. They don’t want to end their lives, they want to end the griefing, the late night crying sessions, the humilliation. That’s what they want. The desire to start over at a completly new place, wherever that place is, that’s what they most desire. Not being afraid of death is tragically beautiful. Because wanting to die is SELF-HATE. It’s self-destructive, self-consuming, it’s just an amount of feelings of dispair. Death is not caring. You know, not caring about wheter it’s fine for you to cross the street or not? That feeling. Not being bothered about the fact that a car might just pop up out of nowhere and run over you. Actually, inside, in your mind, you’re hoping for that to happen, to be hit by someone and then just fell in the ground and never wake up again. Nothing would be better than death: or just disapear from this universe, this damned society, these people that never supported you. They just feel an imense hate and anger towards everyone, towads the emptiness that resides inside their insignificant, worthless bodies. That’s depression. A lack of hope and the idea of stabbing yourself in the heart when you need to wake up and face the outside world. The cruel, the hatred feeling of self-hate. Nothing matters more, and death never leaves your thought. They look at every single challenge with the thought of ”maybe I should just kill myself instead”. They believe that by dying all their problems will fade away. Because there are many problems. And you just don’t fucking know them. You may know that some kid’s parents are getting a divorce, but you don’t know the reason is that the kid has been sexually abused by one of the parents. You may know some grown-up is having financial problems, but you don’t know that they’ve gotten to the point that they have no money to feed their kids, but to make a good impression, they keep faking everything is fine. You don’t know any of these stuff. And you can never know any of these things unless you sail across someone’s brain cells and explore what’s inside. And of course that’s not about to happen but give people a chance to suffer. Don’t just fucking tell them that there are people who have it worse. Because that’s not about to change a damn thing about what they’re feeling. It’s not the fact that some kid is starving in Africa that makes them think positive. And those people who joke about it, well, they’re no one to judge other people’s pain. So think before you speak. You might be getting someone the guts to kill themselves and you don’t even know. Words hurt."
